Description: USA North Carolina, 1974 Classic Volkswagen Beetle Bug, 3 total owners, never wrecked. I started to restore this car as a project last year, unfortunately because I am moving out of the country with my job at IBM, I am unable to complete it but it is very close. All that really needs to be done is the interior and a nice paint job both of which are currently bearable. I have done many things to this car mechanically and it still has the potential to be styled out in many different ways like the classic original, a low rider, a baja bug, or even just a modified street bug like it is now. All 4 tires are brand new with less than 1000 miles of wear on them. I just had a brand new chromed out 1600cc engine installed with a modified carburetor and exhaust for speed off the line, the new engine has less than 500 miles on it. Most recently I have just done a complete front to end brake overhaul, everything was replaced brake wise and overhauled. There was also a new shifter and a new windshield installed in the last month. There have been lots of new miscellaneous parts and extras added to this bug during its overhaul, all of which was done locally by a certified VW expert mechanic who has been working on VWs for more than 30 years. For more details and a complete list of new parts and work that has been done please feel free to contact me. Asking $6000.00 USD OBO which is as much as I have invested in it thus far and does not include what I originally paid for the bug. Please email any inquires or for more information to contact a comicbookslimited.com replace the a with the @ symbol.
